I believe that most people think that spring is rebirth, the new awakening, and I concur that because its a drastic change from cold weather (winter) to warm, soothing and calm weather. Flowers and trees grow anew. For me, there has been many changes in my life. On Good Friday (which it's the day when Jesus suffered the passion/crucifixion), there was a moment where I started to know myself better. On that day, I read some Biblical passages, said some prayers, went to confession, and had bronzino for lunch with my dad and family friends up in PA. I also was in a conversation with my dad and family friends about how we are usually asleep (not physically, but in a sense where we have a tendency to dream and think about how successful we want to be in order for ourselves to be happy) and how we need to wake up and know that there is more to life than just being successful for ourselves. We have a calling to be back to God. The conversation gets very deep but I'm not going to get overwhelming on it, but that talk put a spark inside of me and made me think more clearer than ever before. That's pretty much a part of growing up, we always learn something new everyday, no matter how big or small. I had a great Easter by the way. I got Berger cookies, candy, and three movies for my family. I got "The Hobbit" (excellent movie, i love Lord of the Rings), "Rise of the Guardians", and "Life of Pi" (another amazing movie, which the director Ang Lee deserved that Oscar for best director). I love spring.
