I've gotta say, I love every album AILD has put out so far, they always out do themselves. Awakened is great! I'll always love their old sound though, Shadows Are Security is pretty much my favorite album in the entire genre. I wish they could go back to a sound more like that, but I know they have to adapt and change and they've been doing it flawlessly.

I've been a fan of every AILD album, but I thought they really outdid themselves with "The Powerless Rise." In my opinion, that album far succeeded all of their previous work. But, now that I've listened to "Awakened" numerous times, I find myself asking which is better, and I've yet to come to an answer. What do you think?

AILD is my all-time favorite band. Their musical talent is awesome, but their lyrics are what I really love!! The style of music I love most with lyrics that are applicable to every-day life and convict you to live better make AILD number one in my book!!

Ive seen As I Lay Dying live so many times ive actually lost count, i think im over 10 at this point. Looking to make that number +1 this december at best buy theater!!!
